By studying this flatty and other species, researchers are piecing together a bigger picture of the ocean’s food chain, crucial for understanding the impacts of climate change and guiding real-world decisions.

The 2024/25 NSW FAD season is concluding after one of the most productive years in over two decades, with strong dolphinfish catches reported from Tweed Heads all the way to Eden.
