Club Competition Outings
Club outings are scheduled for the Saturday of the weekend of the third Sunday of the month, at Forster Boat Ramp in Cape Hawke Harbour. As per our rules
fishing may start anytime after midnight Friday up until 3pm Saturday with weigh-in commencing around 2.30pm near the boat ramp.
Should sea conditions prevent an outing on the Saturday, the event can be held on the day after (Sunday), again with weigh in starting at the ramp at about 2:30pm.
Should the whole weekend be blown out, the committee may nominate a weekday in the following week to be comp day.
Each boat must comply with minimum Maritime NSW regulations.
Guidelines
A sign on box will be fixed to a post near the weigh-in station point at Cape Hawke boat ramp for all outings.
Each boat crew member must sign-on and off, on every day they fish.
Each crew member must pay the Clubs entry fee.
All boats must leave and return via Cape Hawke Harbour.
A minimum of 4 (different) boats over the weekend is necessary to constitute an outing.
Fishing must be conducted, north of Seal Rocks Lighthouse and south of Crowdy Head Lighthouse.
Any fish presented to weigh in breach of DPI Saltwater bag and size limits may result in disqualification of the entire catch.
