Point Scoring
Competition Outing Prizes
Monthly Competition Outing prizes are awarded as follows:
Longest Flathead
Longest Snapper
Longest Teraglin
Longest other species
Longest mystery fish
Highest individual points
“Runner Up” prizes will be awarded for the second longest
Flathead
Snapper
Teraglin
No competitor or fish species can win more than one prize, except the Mystery fish (where it can also be the largest other species), and highest individual points.
Therefore, if a competitor wins any of the largest fish categories, they can only win one “Runner Up” prize, but not with a fish in the same category as what they won the largest of. All clear?? :)
Competition Outing Winners
The winner of the competition will be calculated on the following formula
The member/visitor with the most ‘Total Points’ will receive 4 points
2nd place will receive 3 points and 3rd place will receive 2 points
And all other member/visitors that participate receive 1 point
If two or more members/visitors have the same ‘Total Points’ they will receive the equivalent points allocation. The monetary prize will be shared.
The person with the most points at the end of the year will be declared winner. If more than one person finishes on same points, then joint winners will be declared.
