The 2024/25 NSW FAD season is concluding after one of the most productive years in over two decades, with strong dolphinfish catches reported from Tweed Heads all the way to Eden.

Applications are now open for fishing packages or grants to help run community fishing events and activities on or around NSW Gone Fishing Day – 19 October 2025. 

The CFBWFC will for the 25/26 competition year (the yearly competition starts 1 July each year) with a significant change.
