With the clubs normally scheduled Saturday fishing outing rained out, the decision was made to reschedule to the following Thursday. 6 boats and 9 fishermen signed in to wet their lines.
Results were a bit patchy but Joe Bujalski won the day with 15 fish and the best teraglin weighing in at 1.16 kilos. Martyn Barry wasn't far behind and claimed best snapper for the day at 4.5 kilos. Martyn and Joe also shared the prize for best other species, with each angler weighing in a leatherjacket at exactly 1.22 kilos.
Tuan Dao got runner up snapper with a very solid 3.04 kilo fish, and the best flathead of the day went to President Alan Bowden with a healthy offshore lizard of 1.12 kilos.
Weather and conditions offshore were excellent making for a comfortable and enjoyable day for all.
