Fishing Platform at Nambucca River

The Nambucca Valley Council has incorporated a fishing platform into the popular and upgraded Marine Rescue boardwalk, along Rodeo Drive, Nambucca Heads.

The accessible platform provides adequate space for fishers while catering for pedestrians wishing to enjoy the scenic views of the Nambucca River. The upgrades provide a great access point for fishers of all abilities to enjoy.

With access to deeper water, you can expect to encounter all the commonly caught estuary species including bream, whiting and flathead.

If you are having a fish, don’t forget to keep an eye out for the local dolphins which also frequent the clear waters of the Nambucca River!
