AGM and Yearly Award Presentations
August also saw the club AGM and Yearly Prize Presentation. “The meeting was well attended by our members who enjoyed a pleasant dinner (and a few beverages!)” stated club President Alan Bowden. “I would like to thank the members who have once again volunteered to give their time and effort to keep this fishing club organized and functional. It surely is appreciated.”
The fishing club is very appreciative of the support of Club Forster, and Club Forster VP Neil Stuckey was there on the day to support the club and present awards to the yearly winners. Ever consistent, Martyn Barry won the year with Jo Bujalski running up as well taking out best flathead for the year. John Habraken won best snapper for the year, and Greg Scott best trag. ‘Tiny but tireless’ Barry Wrench was well deserved Club Person of the Year. Always the first to volunteer and last to leave. Thanks Barry for all you do!
